Joe (he/him) is a Public Health & Preventive Medicine medical specialist and Professor in the School of Population and Global Health, McGill University. As a medical consultant (Sexually Transmitted and Bloodborne Infections team, Direction régionale de santé publique de Montréal and Chronic Viral Illness Service, McGill University Health Centre), his work on the prevention and control of STBBI is focused on the interface of public health and clinical practice. He has experience undertaking biobehavioural surveillance and epidemiological research to understand risks for STBBI and related health outcomes among key populations in urban settings.
