Toronto – Community Report

The Engage Toronto study surveyed a total of 517 transgender (4.1%) and cisgender (95.9%) gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBM) about their sexual and mental health. The study recruited participants from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, ages, gender identities, HIV statuses, as well as risk factors for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Vancouver – Community Report

Taken together, our findings highlight various health and well-being outcomes among GBM in Metro Vancouver’s Engage study (known as Momentum II) surveyed a total of 753 cisgender and transgender gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBM) about their sexual and mental health between February 2017-July 2019. The study recruited participants from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, ages, gender identities and HIV statuses.

Montreal – Community Report

The Engage Montreal study surveyed a total of 1,179 cisgender and transgender gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBM) from February 2017 to June 2018 to understand the health and well-being of GBM in Montreal. The information collected will support prevention and treatment interventions for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Toronto – Cycle 2017-2019

This report describes the Toronto sample at the baseline time point of the Engage Study. Recruitment for Engage in Toronto started in May 2017 and ended in August 2019.

Vancouver – Cycle 2017-2019

This report aims to provide health information about GBM in Vancouver for clinical and public health audiences. These findings can be used to further inform health service design and implementation for GBM in BC.

Montreal – Cycle 2017-2018

Between February 2017 and June 2018, a total of 1179 cisgender and transgender men aged 18 to 80 years took part in the Engage Montréal study. This document provides and overview of indicators from the study.
