Ricky Rodrigues is the Engage Toronto Research Coordinator & Site Manager. Ricky has been working in HIV and LGBTQ health since 2012. Ricky has held several different roles at the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT), contributing to a range of programs, services, and research projects, including: Totally Outright (a sexual health leadership program for young MSM); the Sex, Drugs, and Alcohol Survey (a mixed-methods study of sex and substance use among MSM conducted at World Pride 2014 in Toronto); the Buddy Program (a one-on-one support program for people living with HIV); and ACT’s support groups and psychoeducational workshop series for people living with HIV. Ricky has also been engaged in counselling and community development work with LGBTQ populations through various Toronto-based organizations, including Central Toronto Youth Services, Egale Youth OUTreach, OurSpace Toronto, and The 519 Church Street Community Centre.
