Abbie Parlette is the Engage Toronto Coordinator. Abbie previously served as a volunteer with the HIV Prevention Lab in 2017, and as the Engage Toronto Research Associate in 2018. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from Ryerson University, where she majored in Biological Science and minored in Psychology. She also has a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research, awarded from The Michener Institute at UHN. Being an active member in the Toronto LGBTQ community, Abbie is passionate about locally-based community studies, HIV prevention initiatives, and harm reduction. She also has a keen interest in Biomedical research as it relates to HIV/STBBI prevention and treatment.
