The call for applications for the Engage Research Capacity Building program for the 2018-2019 academic year was launched June 18th! As in previous years, there is one position available in Vancouver, one in Montreal, and 3 in Toronto (for Ryerson students only). The deadline for applications is Monday, July 30th. Please see the online application form; and share info about the program to students in your networks, and provide them the link if they are interested in applying! For any questions about the program, please contact Marc Messier-Peet (marc@engagemen.ca).
In other RCB related news, Marie Faaborg-Andersen has recently given her presentation entitled “The Perceived Need to be Hot: An Investigation of the Relationship between Belief in Sexual Stereotypes and Erectile Dysfunction in Gay Men using Thermal Imaging”. For anyone interested in viewing the presentation, it has been recorded, so contact Marc (marc@engagemen.ca) and he will be happy to send you a link.
The final RCB trainee-led seminar will be given by Carla Doyle, who will be presenting the updated results of the latent class analysis of risk reduction strategies adopted by Engage-Montreal participants. Marc will be sending out the invite to Carla’s presentation in late July, so keep your eyes peeled for the invite!
